Celebrating the festivals that bring people together

Chinese New Year and the Mid-Autumn Festival are deeply woven into the fabric of Chinese culture. These are important occasions where people rejoice in the company of loved ones. To communicate the cultural significance of both festivals, we designed a series of greetings that portrayed unity, liveliness and the kindred spirit.

In Chinese culture, birds represent happiness, longevity and kinship. The festive season is an occasion where these interpersonal qualities come to the fore.

This whimsical take on a traditional festival showcases eight spinning mooncakes, with a couple of rabbits in their element, frolicking on them. This depicts the spirit and energy of the occasion using an easily-recognised symbol of Mid-Autumn Festival.

In this idyllic river scene, people in boats are admiring the scenery as giant koi swim below. This evokes the feeling of positivity and harmony, surrounded by good tidings all around.

A group of people gather along the river bank as lanterns fill the sky. The belief is that the lanterns would take away their troubles and herald good fortune and prosperity.
