Inclus

Creating an inclusive society for people with disabilities

Inclus is a social enterprise that empowers people with disabilities (PWDs) to reach their fullest potential in life through gainful employment and independence. Their outpost at The Enabling Village is a community space built for social businesses and PWDs. To make it a welcoming presence for all, we decorated the office walls with thoughtful and engaging visuals that shine a light on employees and the avenues of support they can count on during their employment journey.

People are the central figures in each design. For the door sticker, we showed people presenting the best versions of themselves at work.

Accessibility was the top requirement when creating the typography, so that the legibility and readability is enhanced for people with vision impairments, dyslexia or other learning disabilities. We created a rounded sans-serif typeface, where individual letters are easily distinguishable without unnecessary visual clutter.

The welcome area wall mural is the anchor graphic. Using the concept of a glasshouse, we depicted people in different job functions under the 4 pillars of Inclus – Employment, Training, Job Support and Assessment.

The office mural was kept minimal, making it more conducive for work as well as for times that the room doubled up as a training facility.
